Wiggle Butt No. 3 (2018)

Well it’s been interesting transferring drawings to readymade objects to say the least. But so far so good with the exception of a few accidents which kept delaying the project. There is nothing like nearing completion only to see it fall apart in your hands ha ha

This sculpture was made for the ‘Woof Woof’ exhibit at Gallery Yampu, Port Adelaide for the annual SALA festival. Opens August 9th and I hope to see you there!

Remake/Remodel during SALA Festival (2014)

R/R is happy to be part of two SALA events in Port Adelaide this year, ‘7 Rooms’ and ‘univerSALA’. The former opens this Friday (August 1) and the latter Thursday week (August 7), there will be around 12 pieces on show,Β hope to see you there! πŸ™‚

A work in progress – Spool Table No. 6 (2014)

Another spool table, this time a bit of an experiment. I had this thing in the studio for about two weeks before I thought: ‘maybe I should carve it and see what happens?’. The key word for this exhibit (another SALA event) was ‘universal’ so ideas based around constellations, circles and circuits came to mind. More info on the event below:

Shop closure

Ok folks, the shop is now officially closed but R/R is still fully operational and available for commissions, exhibits, markets and public art projects. Adoorable – Adelaide Fringe 2014 (part 2)

Well it was about 42/43 degrees on the opening night but what a turn out! Thanks to all the artists participating in the exhibit and everyone who came last night, I salute your courage in this heat! The ‘Adoorable’ exhibit lasts from 14th feb – 16th march at Gallery Yampu (1 Jenkins Street, Birkenhead) for those of you who havent made it yet.
