The Future of Art – An Exhibition

Quote: ‘The Future Of Art’ will showcase artistic pieces from the next generation of Port Adelaide artists, aged nine to sixteen. The exhibition is the culmination of a series of workshops with local artist Mandi Glynn-Jones, and will be hosted by Our Port. Please join us for a launch party this Saturday 8th March at 2pm, food and drinks will be provided and it will be a great opportunity to meet some of the young talent that contributed to the exhibition.β€˜The Future of Art’ will run from 8 – 21 March and will be held at Forge Creative Warehouse, 168 St Vincent Street, Port Adelaide.

Dinner Table 3 (2014)

Another project this week, a mini round dinner/coffee table. Made from recycled timber such as jarrah and marenti, with reused legs from another table. Relatively straight forward, this table is light for its size partially beacause it has to be carried on to the third floor of a studio. Here are some shots of the progress I’ve made so far πŸ™‚

Adoorable – Adelaide Fringe 2014 (part 2)

Well it was about 42/43 degrees on the opening night but what a turn out! Thanks to all the artists participating in the exhibit and everyone who came last night, I salute your courage in this heat! The ‘Adoorable’ exhibit lasts from 14th feb – 16th march at Gallery Yampu (1 Jenkins Street, Birkenhead) for those of you who havent made it yet.
